The database developed by the metek GmbH is optimally designed to meet the needs of cardiology departments. The database uses Oracle® technology such as the Oracle® server. A unique feature is the data backup concept in combination with the Oracle® personnel components.

The database uses a client/server architecture: the data can be entered and viewed at different sites; the data is managed centrally and automatically by the server.
